Important new amendment to the IBBS Back-up Battery System STC-AML
The IBBS is now approved for connection to Electronic Ignition Systems
TCW is pleased to announce the FAA approval of an important new amendment to our STC-AML. The STC-AML allows for the installation of the IBBS in over 200 of the most popular models of GA aircraft. This new amendment greatly expands the approved list of devices that may connected to an IBBS system, including electronic ignition systems. The IBBS system may be connected to virtually any avionic system as long as the current consumption of the avionic is within the specification of the selected IBBS system. With this new approval, virtually any device in the cockpit is a candidate for operation on back-up power, greatly enhancing the safety of aircraft.
